Ballet Workout
Ballet Workout is a unique method based on the basic elements of classical ballet. These classes are suitable for beginners as well as women with previous experience in ballet. Everyone from 16 to 70 years old is welcome.
Stretching class
This class will relieve you of all the stress in your body, make your legs and hips more flexible and balance out the tensions in your body. You will learn proper and healthy stretching in a group of enthusiastic women.
Pre-Advanced
Have you been doing ballet for years? Classes for advanced dancers with previous ballet experience. The class includes barre, center, pirouettes and jumps. Depending on the group level, we also do pointes technique in this class.
Private lesson
Get private lessons from a professional ballerina! Whether you are a beginning ballet dancer, a professional dancer or an athlete. In this class, you will receive 100% attention and individual approach from your professional ballet master.
The secret behind the bikini bodies of Gigi Hadid, Doutzen Kroes, Alexa Chung and co? Ballet! The dance improves your posture and agility, as well as provides you with a streamlined silhouette. The latter because the discipline trains your long muscles instead of their short counterparts that quickly create a dilated effect. Ballerina Tatevik Mkrtoumian, the brains behind Ballet Workout in Antwerp, dances you with a mix of
muscle strengthening, flexibility development and cardio in top form.
On the occasion of the recent ballet master classes events for children and adults held at Burj Khalifa in Dubai, L'Officiel Arabia speaks with professional ballerina Tatevik Mkrtoumian, founder of Ballet Workout, who has brought her unique ballet exercising method to the UAE.
Twenty years ago, the movie "Billy Elliot" shattered the stereotype: ballet is for everyone. And yet too few men warm to pliés, pirouettes and pas de bourrée. That's why our reporter Arthur De Meyer ventured into an initiation "Ballet workout for boys" at Tatevik Mkrtoumian's Antwerp studio. An hour later, he is already convinced: ballet is top sport.

BALLET WORKOUT METHOD
A unique method based on the basic elements of classical ballet. The program is specially designed so that no prior dance or fitness experience is necessary. All children ages 3 to 12 and women ages 16 to 70 are welcome. We will strengthen muscles, develop flexibility, achieve split goals and do cardio, all to classical music. By bringing the artistic and physical together, we work on body and soul at the same time. We practice a high art form and have a fulfilled, wonderful feeling after class. Welcome!
Ballet workout
During the training hour, we will use muscles that you do not use in everyday life, but which are responsible for correct posture.
YEARLY SHOWS
You will have the unique opportunity to participate in unforgettable shows in a theater with professional costumes and different choreography. Participation is not mandatory.
