Ballet Workout is a unique method based on the basic elements of classical ballet. Our adult Ballet Workout Classes are suitable for beginners ballet and women with previous experience in ballet. Therefore, everyone from 16 till 70 years old is welcome. The class contains a warmp up, barre, center exercises, floor exercises and choreography.
The program was specially designed so that no prior dance or fitness experience is needed and you can learn the basics of ballet in a short time. So we never ‘pump’ the muscles but work on a ballet body with strong, long and lean muscles with minimum volume. You will improve your condition and posture, of course all this on classical music. Discover a unique form of beauty through movements and interaction with music. In summary, by bringing the artistic and physical together we work on body and soul at the same time. We exercise a high form of art and therefore have an accomplished and wonderful feeling after the class.

You have to feel comfortable and be able to move. For example, for a trial lesson yoga or stretch pants, a top and socks are sufficient. Additionally for further lessons, ballet shoes and dance clothes are available at a low price on the site and at the spot. Make sure you have enough water to drink during class. There is no experience or flexibility required for the Ballet Workout classes. Equally important, You don’t have to have a perfect body or be flexible. We will work on your flexibility, coordination musicality and learn to dance in class. Hence, we have a non judgmental, complex free atmosphere in class where we work positively on our bodies and enjoy the feeling of dance and ballet.
Yes, you can choose the day you would like to come to class and start anytime from sept-june. Furthermore, our schedule is flexible and you can choose a different day every week.
It’s not a problem, you can pick up whenever you can again. In the end, it’s best if you keep a regular schedule for your classes but if you happen to be unable to come for a period of time you may pick up again as soon as you can again. In fact the most important is to pick up your good habits again.
We organise a yearly performance that you can be part of as an adult beginners ballet but it’s not obligated to participate. You may practise the choreography at the end of class and as the year progresses see if you are ready to participate in the show and accordingly set your goals higher. Nevertheless it’s an incredible experience and great opportunity to be on stage and dance a beautiful choreography in a real ballet costume. But for now just come to class and make a first step towards your ballet goals and dreams.
All ages and sizes are welcome. Of course you will never be judged by anybody in our classes. Everyone exercises together and works on themselves in a truly positive and comfortable atmosphere. Only in a positive environment real progress can be made.
Yes, it is definitely possible. If you want to dance professionally you have to start around the age of 5. But if you want to dance for your health and pleasure it is absolutely possible to learn ballet in a correct and safe way within a short period of time. In our ballet studio for adults, you are always guided by professional ballerinas who make sure you learn everything in the correct way without forcing your body.
As in top sports, professional ballet where you dance up to 10 hours a day can lead to injuries. If you take up to 1 or 2 hours a day of classes that are aimed at beginners then the programme is adapted and the classes are given under professional supervision. Furthermore ballet is very good for your posture, flexibility and strength. We pay a lot of attention to the correct form of each exercise, which also makes you more aware of your body and therefore reduces the risk of injuries. The exercises in our classes are adapted to a beginners level.
