Reasons enough to start Ballet as an adult woman!
)Supple body: ‘Felxibility is yought’. Keeping your body supple is essential to staying young. You don’t have to be limber to join our Ballet Workout, we work on that during class. Regardless of how stiff you are, you can become limber at any age. Muscles can be stretched even at 60 and we have living proof of that in class. Anyone can become limber and even the split can.
)Anti cellulite: Not only will you lose weight through the Ballet Workout Training, our ballet inspired exercises will make your body slimmer and tighter. You have to pull yourself up, which also lifts and tightens your body. We also do specific ballet exercises that make your buttocks and legs leaner and stronger.
)Health: Proper posture is important for your health. Your spine has many nerves and to keep your body healthy you need to exercise muscles that keep your back straight. Ballet is the best choice for that. In our Ballet Workout classes, we spend a lot of time focusing on posture.
)Conscious Body Language: Did you know that almost 70% percent of the impression we make depends on your body language? Your body unconsciously sends out signals for you to everyone you interact with at work and in your free time. With Ballet Workout’s exercises, you become more aware of your body language and learn to control your body. You will also learn more about closed and open positions that will allow you to control your body language and understand that of others in your everyday life.
)It makes you happier: Dance and music have been proven to make your body produce hormones that make you happier. After each ballet class, you feel overjoyed and fulfilled. No more need for chocolate…:)
)Broaden your cultural knowledge: Not only do we dance to classical music. We also visit theaters together with members of our Ballet Workout Community (which you will also be a part of when you come to class) and see the greatest “must see” ballets. You also make new social contacts and share your interest in ballet with other women.
)Unwind ‘Making time for yourself’: Ballet requires concentration. From the moment you step into the ballet studio, you forget all your daily worries and can be 100% engaged in dance and yourself. Completely clear your head after a busy and chaotic workday and shift your attention to your body and soul.
